This July, we proudly celebrate 10 years of Ocean Bottom Soap Company! What began at local farmers’ markets has grown into a trusted, community-rooted brand—serving Windsor-Essex with handcrafted, natural skincare for a decade. It’s been an incredible journey built on passion, purpose, and people.
Over 30 years ago, Charmaine began making soap to support her family’s health using only clean, natural ingredients. That personal mission has since transformed into a thriving business committed to offering high-quality, eco-conscious alternatives to conventional skincare.
While artisan soap was our beginning, our product range has grown to include lip balms, bath powders, nourishing facial serums, whipped shea butters, and our signature tallow-based lotions and creams. Every product is made by hand in small batches using organic and exotic ingredients sourced globally for their skin-loving benefits.
Many people in our community first experienced Ocean Bottom through a baby or bridal shower gift, a thoughtful Realtor closing basket, or a custom-labeled treat in an Airbnb welcome package. We’ve proudly created personalized products for countless events and local businesses—adding a natural, heartfelt touch to special occasions.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to be developing shampoo and conditioner bars, a gentle liquid soap, and a professional spa skincare line designed in collaboration with local wellness experts.
